The Addams Family Bios

Mark Schroeder (Gomez) is a familiar face on the YOOH stage. Some of his favorite roles include Remnar in “Escanaba In Da Moonlight”, Samuel in “Pirates Of Penzance”, and Cohen in The Underpants. Mark also enjoys singing choral music, collecting records, CDs, and the recorded audio medium. Mark hopes he brings an anarchic joyfull spirit to Gomez Addams.

Melody Reese (Morticia)
Melody Reese (Morticia Addams) This is Melody’s first barn musical and her debut with Ye Olde Opera House. Melody is a musical theatre kid at heart and has been performing since high school. This production marks her If you're looking for someone to see a show with, listen to your rants about a composer, or rewatch The Rocky Horror Picture Show (with callbacks) for the millionth time, she's available. Outside of theatre, she enjoys spending time roaming about the earth, planting seeds, and appreciating sunrises. A line from the show that resonates with Melody is "You're happy when your toes are in the mud. Visceral, tactile acts of whimsy is something she is always seeking.

Chloe Jane Bulman (Wednesday Addams / Choreographer)
Chloe Jane’s stage career began at age three as a bumblebee in a dance recital, eventually leading her to perform with Ballet La Crosse and Caledonia MSHS Theater. Beyond playing Wednesday, she is also the production's choreographer. Outside of the theater, she works as a dance teacher, can be found in a milking parlor, somewhere with a book in hand, or gallivanting across the globe. She is beyond excited to return to the completely normal family by the name of Addams and feels so blessed to be working with these extraordinary people.

Claire Solberg (Pugsley Addams)
Claire is a veteran of the stage, with past roles including Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Patrick in SpongeBob the Musical. She is a creative soul who enjoys painting, singing, acting and various crafts. Claire’s favorite part of performing at the barn is the variety of wildlife spotted during rehearsals.

Jesse Reese (Fester Addams)
Jesse is making their debut at the barn and with Ye Olde Opera House, bringing experience from productions such as The Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore, and The Taming of the Shrew. Their interests include reading, traveling, and listening to old pulp radio dramas

David Mendez (Grandma Addams)
David is excited to be part of his second barn show! His previous credits include Ensemble in Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Peter Quince in Something’s Rotten, and Linus in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. He enjoys being with friends, kayaking, watching movies, and being around his cat Matcha! David had a busy summer as he was also in New Minowa Players Production of Into the Woods this past June! David enjoyed bringing such an “out of the box” character, like Grandma Addams, to life! He is very grateful to continue finding opportunities to perform and be a part of theater!

​Addison Cross (Lucas Beineke)
Addison has appeared in numerous shows, including Shakespeare in Something’s Rotten and Father in Eurydice. They love the outdoors, consuming theater, and finding "fur babies" to pet. Addison considers seeing a bat on the first night of rehearsals for The Addams Family to be a good sign for the production.

David Storlie (Malcolm Beineke)
A seasoned performer, some of David’s favorite roles include King Arthur, Captain Von Trapp, and Lieutenant Frank Cioffi. While he loves theater, he admits a personal preference for the classic series Dark Shadows.

Landon Oitzman (Lurch)
Landon has been in theater productions for 11 consecutive years and is excited for his second barn show. Favorite roles for Landon include Wayne Campbell from Wayne’s World and Luke from The Lightning Thief. Offstage, he is a NASCAR fan who races his own enduro car at La Crosse Speedway. Landon also enjoys play card/board games, video games, and tinkering in the shop. He values time with his family as “it’s your foundation”. He also really appreciates the deep community bonding of the barn experience and considers it an honor to be part of this local tradition.

Anders Nelson (Ancestor)
Anders has been in many shows including Frederick in Young Frankenstein: The Musical, Prince Herbert in Spamalot, Nigel Bottom in Something’s Rotten, and Felix Ungar in The Odd Couple. Anders serves as the parish pastor for the Mabel and Henrytown tri-point parish. Beyond the workplace, he finds deep joy in the practice of storytelling with friends through games like Dungeons and Dragons. You'll also find him playing any other variety of games (board, video, or otherwise) or swimming laps at the Spring Grove pool. Anders is excited for his second show in the barn and hopes this show isn't too spooky, as he's not the biggest fan of horror movies and scares easily.

Grace McAllister (Ancestor - Beheaded)
Grace is a current student at Minnesota State Moorhead majoring in English and minoring in Marketing. She is a big reader (hence the English degree). When she is not on stage, Grace can likely be found with friends and family, working, or simply curled up with a book! This is Grace’s first show at the Barn and with YOOH but not her first time being in The Addams Family. She was in a production in high school and was one of the ancestors as well as an understudy to Wednesday and Alice. Grace also assisted with the production's social media and marketing.

​Grace Torgerson (Flapper Ancestor / Moon)
Grace is an experienced performer whose favorite roles include The Chaperone in The Drowsy Chaperone, Ensemble in Something’s Rotten! and Gerry in Play On! In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, swimming, and kayaking. Grace was previously in The Addams Family when she was in 7th grade and played the ballerina ancestor. She loves the barn because it is such a unique place to do theater, especially in an outdoor setting!
Adah Solum (Ancestor)
Adah’s theater background includes roles like Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Pearl Krabs in SpongeBob the Musical, and Susan in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, hiking, hanging out with her family and friends, and playing board games. In The Addams Family, Adah really enjoys playing a dead person, especially one with such regal attire.


Evie Liptack (Ancestor - Puritan)
Evie’s previous experience includes playing Woodstock in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Mr. Beaver in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. She enjoys volleyball, reading, hanging out with friends, and she appreciates how the large ensemble allows every ancestor to be unique.

Bently Rohland (Ancestor - Hector Fernando Escondido Chimichanga)
Bently has appeared as Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Squidward in SpongeBob the Musical, and Simon Starkweather and Simon Starkweather III in Murders in the Heir. Bently enjoys listening to music, playing games, spending time with friends, and pursuing school activities. He enjoys the social aspect of the barn, specifically meeting new people and making friends during the production process.

Greta Fisch (Ancestor - Girl on Front of Magazine)
Greta has been in many shows, including as Mareen in HONK! Jr. She loves to bake with friends and has loved all the time spent practicing with the cast for this show.

Liam Rohland (Stage Manager)
Liam returns to the barn after operating microphones for last year’s Something Rotten. In addition to stage management, he runs lights for local bands, enjoys playing games, and hanging out with friends.
