Some of his favorite roles include Remnar in “Escanaba In Da Moonlight”, Samuel in “Pirates Of Penzance”, and Cohen in The Underpants. Mark also enjoys singing choral music, collecting records, CDs, and the recorded audio medium. Mark says he’s glad he studied Shakespeare in college, and is grateful that “Mary Hull Mohr suffered this fool mostly gladly”. | ![]() Anders Nelson (Nigel)Anders is a veteran actor, however this is his first barn show. Favorite roles include Frederick in “Young Frankenstein”, and Pinocchio in “Shrek: The Musical”. Anders serves as the parish pastor for the Mabel/Henrytown Tri-Point Parish (ELCA). When not leading worship or at the theater, Anders enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, baking delicious treats, and finding the best spots in the area to enjoy a nice meal! | ![]() Madelyn Paloucek (Beatrice "Bea" Bottom)Madelyn Paloucek (Beatrice "Bea" Bottom) has been a part of over 50 productions and this is her third show at the barn. Her favorite roles have been Meg Brockie in “Brigadoon”, Cat in The Hat in “Seussical" and Hunyak in "Chicago". She is a certified respite care provider and enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Her favorite Shakespeare quote is "Thou calledst me a dog before thou hadst a cause, but since I am a dog, beware my fangs." |

A seasoned performer, Anna has appeared in numerous productions, with favorite roles including Donna in Mamma Mia and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre at Carthage College, When not on stage, Anna loves traveling and exploring the outdoors. | ![]() Bill Fried (Nostradamus)Bill is a retired educator who enjoys volunteering for a number of organizations in Spring Grove. His first barn show was 40 years ago and doesn’t tire of this unique venue. He is looking forward to singing this timeless musical. | ![]() Addison Cross (William Shakespeare)Addison is a familiar face on the YOOH stage, with Lily St. Regis in Annie being their most recent productions. Favorite roles include Lysander in “A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Father in “Eurydice”. They enjoy walking and being outside, and spending time with friends and family. Addison loves performing Shakespeare and thinks any chance to play the man, the myth, the legend is incredible. |

Cioffi, Officer Lockstock, Harry Witherspoon, Georg Von Trapp. David once opened a performance of Shakespeare's The Tempest while being buried in two tons of corn falling from two stories above. | ![]() Wes Riley (Shylock, Bard Boy, Ensemble)Wes is in his first YOOH barn musical. In his free time he enjoys kayaking, reading, and teaching. Wes enjoyed playing Horton the Elephant in Seussical the Musical as a senior in high school, when he won the "most likely to get stuck in a tree" award. | ![]() Jennifer Solberg (Minstrel, Ensemble)Jennifer is a very familiar face on the YOOH Stage with some of her favorite roles including Little Sally in "Urinetown" and Frenchy in "Grease". Jen finds joy reading, gardening, canoeing, spending time with her beautiful family, and dreaming of one day traveling the world. In the “real world” she enjoys teaching her wonderful elementary students at SGPS. Jen is super excited to wear puffy pants! |
![]() Kay M. Capps Cross (Lady Clapham)Kay's theater experience includes all aspects of a production - as an actor, director, choreographer, and musical director. Favorite barn roles include Aldonza, Miss Hannigan, Eliza Doolittle. Kay enjoys traveling, hanging with her family and friends, quilting, driving a tractor, and theater, theater, theater! Kay played Beatrice in ‘Much Ado about Nothing” while in college. That experience shaped all of her subsequent adventures in theater. Big nod to "The Bard"! | ![]() Gwynne Mishler (Master of the Justice, Ensemble)Gwynne has been in many productions including Mary Sunshine in "Chicago" and Meg Boyd in "Damn Yankees". Gwynne teaches elementary music in Onalaska, sings with La Crescent's Apple Annies, and loves to garden.She once played Ophelia in " A 15 minute Hamlet". She literally laid dead on stage for about 8 of those minutes, then got up and died twice more! | ![]() David Mendez (Peter Quince)David is a seasoned actor playing roles including Blackbird in “Afterlife: A Ghost Story”, Henry in “Next to Normal”, Ensemble in Disney’s “Hunchback of Notre Dame”, and Phantom in “Rocky Horror”. David is from Decorah and when he isn’t on stage, you can find him watching movies, going on walks with friends, and kayaking. He recently directed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at NMP. David is excited to be a part of his first Barn show and to bring “Something Rotten!" to life. |
![]() Micah Klug (Robin)Micah has been in theater since the age of 6, with roles in many shows including Bob in 9 to 5, Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, Noah Claypole in Oliver, Bill in Mamma Mia, and many more! He is a recent graduate at LaCrescent- Hokah High School and plans to attend Western Technology College in the fall. He has always enjoyed reading the plays and learning the stories of Shakespeares in school. | ![]() Grace Torgerson (Francis Flute, Chef, Ensemble)Grace has appeared in a variety of stage productions, with some of her notable roles including the Chaperone in “The Drowsy Chaperone”, Gerry in “Play On!”, Jonathan in “Arsenic and Old Lace”, and an ensemble member in “9 to 5”. Outside the theater, Grace enjoys painting, drawing, swimming, and listening to music. Though she dreaded reading Shakespeare’s Hamlet in the last few weeks of school, she discovered—that it was actually pretty good. | ![]() Claire Solberg (Snug, Ensemble)Claire has been in many productions, with some of her favorite roles being, Annie in “Annie”, Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz”, and Patrick in “The SpongeBob Musical”. Claire loves to do anything artistic and is currently directing YOOH’s children’s show “Honk! Jr.” Claire recently graduated high school and is excited to be attending Luther College next year! |
![]() Russell Thies (Bard Boy, Ensemble)Russell has been in many productions, including Percy Jackson in “The Lightning Thief”, Lurch in “The Addams Family”, and Garth Algar in the Founders Day Variety Show. Russell enjoys collecting video games and comic books, as well as playing and reading them in his spare time. When it comes to Shakespeare, Russell says “I've had to read Romeo and Juliet in nearly every English class I've taken, but I never remember the names of any character except the main couple.” | ![]() Landon Oitzman (Bard Boy)Landon is entering his 10th year of being in theater productions and is enjoying being in another show with the other half of his “dynamic duo” - Russell Thies. In his free time he races my enduro cars, is a diehard Nascar fan, and enjoys time with his family. He’s tried every sport you can think of but has found his true passion is theater. When Harper isn’t busy working, she loves to watch movies, thrift shop, listen to music, go on late night drives with friends, and perform for others. Maria is in band, choir and jazz band and is a member of the Spring Grove Drama Club. | ![]() Ella Wennes (Sad Little Egg, Astrologer, Ensemble)Ella is returning to the YOOH barn stage, last playing an orphan in Annie. In Spring Grove High School productions, she loved being Mary Poppins in “Mary Poppins”, and Rosie in “Mamma Mia!”. Ella is studying Musical Theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City! She spends most of her free time with her family and friends or reading a good book.
